For Sale – 2009 Subaru Forester. Here is a 2009 Forester for sale; asking $4000.00 or Best Offer. The car is being sold at a discount because of the transmission problems. This 2009 Forester has been a good reliable vehicle until a trip to my local Subaru dealer for recall items. After the dealer replaced the Passenger Air Bag, ECM upgrade, Head Gasket, timing belt & etc in 08/2018… the Forester started having transmission problems. Then to car went to two other shops. This car moves in all gears, but is very slow. The engine runs great, with no problems.
